Just one suggestion or question - I would love a visual notification that I have a message not just a sound ! If I don't have IM+ running in the foreground and I miss the sound then I have no idea I've received an IM ! Am I missing a setting somewhere for a pop up notification somewhere? Otherwise it looks great and loads really fast even though I have about 200 buddies ! Thanks |

Is this just a side-effect of being a beta? Or is it just me? |

I figured that there were no updates yet. When I say the update check wasn't working, I mean it isn't connecting to your server; I'm essentially getting an error message. |

Will there be support for sending files in a conversation? |

I continue to have problems connecting to my AIM account. I connected the first time after the installation of the app, but not after that. I don't see an option to connect to simultaneous AIM locations. |

Putting on an away message just prevents people from IMing you, most of the time. The mobile icon lets them know that you are accessible. There is an AIM add-on called Middle_Man for the PC version of AIM, that can display the mobile icon next to your screename, even if you arent using mobile AIM. So the mobile icon indication can be replicated and is not just something reserved for an official version of Mobile AIM. No other smartphone AIM/IM app has this feature, so you can be the first one to have this.

I second that. Hopefully this can be added. And for some reason, the first beta build is still working for me. |

As I described in previous posts, it's really tough to troubleshoot because there is no way to view a console or anything like that (which incidentally would probably help you guys troubleshoot quite a bit). Furthermore all I get are error messages from the registration server. I'm not sure if you require the registration server to respond before I can connect to any of the networks; but if this is the case then I'd have to make a serious objection to this practice. I realize you guys have a right to protect your software and so forth, but if it is automatically crippled just because your registration server is down, I'd have to say that's unacceptable. I look forward to your thoughts. -Paul |
