Departing from WM for the time being...

As some of you may notice, I don't visit/post here that often anymore. Mainly this is due to my increased work load as of late. But I'm going to be coming here less and less due to one fact...I'm departing from WM for the time being. Why you may ask? Well, I'm lucky enough to have been given an 8GB iPhone for free, from my friend. I know...I know, I've cursed this thing up one side and down the other (same with Apple). But after using it since Tuesday, I honestly have to say that it is simply awesome. There's quite a few things I don't like about it, but the thing I love most about this, is just how fast the OS is. I've NEVER had any sort of slow down in the UI what-so-ever. WM is PLAGUED with this, hell, open up the settings options, takes 5-10 seconds to open! I have to hand it to Apple, the mobile Safari browser is just simply awesome. Rather than post all the things I like about it, I'll just say that I'm stepping down for awhile, but I'll still be here every so often. I'm not done with WM, I'm just tired of paying $700 on a phone.

I hear ya, but its worthless to me without high speeds. I bought my girlfriend one and while its great, WiFi doesn't cut it for me.

It's good to mix things up, otherwise you tend to cocoon yourself into thinking that one particular O/S is the best thing since sliced bread. Try out the Nokia browser while you are at it: It's based on Safari. Cheers.

Good luck, Jason, my friend. We'll miss you and await your return.
