Touch Types question

Hello. Would it be safe to say there are two basic types of touch screens?

1. Various HTC devices, often sliders (Wing, Mogul, etc etc) that use a stylus or a fingertip. You cannot adjust what you see of a whole web screen by using your finger to move it.

2. The Iphone is the other type. Is this TouchFlo? The HTC Touch or Touch II is/will be the same? You can ! adjust what you see of a whole web screen by using your finger to move it. You can do this with anything on the screen. You HAVE to do it this way.

Thanks for any comments/corrections.

So would this mean that the Iphone touch screen is not similar to the HTC TouchFlo? People are waiting for the TouchFlo, so I assumed it was basically the same. Any more details? Thank you.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.50 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/4.0.8993/58; U; en))

The iphone has something called multitouch allowing you do the zoom in and out. The touchflo thats on the touch and the new tilt is diffrent you can scroll using your finger instead of using a stylus among other things, like in ie you dont have to scroll down the page with your stylus or finger you just flick it and it will keep scrolling by itself

That's really neat sounding - you stop it by touching it again?
