i had a treo 750, which i liked, when it work. however it was a huge piece of **** and decided to break. anyway i went with the 8525, and other than the physical size, i love it. it has more features thant the treo and is waaaay more compatible with at&t's features/ringtones/programs. however i loved the chat/conversational style of the treo 750 txt msging. the 8525 treats txts like every other phone, as email type msgs. i much prefer a txt conversation laid out like an IM/chat conversation. sooooo is there any software i can get for the 8525 to make the txting look like the treo??

well guys ive been searching to answer my own question. i found 2 free programs that let me do this, txtman and threader. however both programs are not able to replace the old txt program and are limited in other ways as well. then i found a program called Textr which costs money, it DOES replace your old sms/txt client but it still has limitations. so i was a bit discouraged UNTIL i found EXACTLY what i was looking for!!!!!!!

someone on the xda forums isolated the exact treo 750 SMS/TXT client!! it works perfect on the 8525 with NO LIMITATIONS!! and its free!!! as you can tell, im very happy about this,lol. anyway here is the link, enjoy!
