Yahoo mail doesn't work on my iPhone!

It used to work, but stopped working several weeks ago. So I deleted the account on my iPhone, and then re-added it. I also verified that the password was correct (through yahoo on my computer) and I definitely have the password correct.

When I try to check my yahoo mail on my iPhone, it just sits there saying "Checking for Mail..." the whole time. Is anyone else having this problem?

I did a search but most of the posts were about push not working correctly..

I had the same problem a couple of times (stuck on checking for mail). I moved all of my mail from my inbox on my pc into a temporary folder. The phone reconnected with yahoo and deleted all the mail in the inbox. Then I went back into my pc and moved all the mail from the temp folder back into my inbox. Once the phone connected it was fine then.

The thing is, I did that just a month ago. Then a week later it stopped working. I wonder how often I'm going to have to clean out the inbox! There were only 4 emails in there.

Glad it worked. I have only had to do it twice(had the phone for about 1 month), for 2 seperate yahoo accounts.

If you do a quick search youll find that this is an ongoing issue. I have been having a problem with yahoo since I got my iPhone. It will work for awhile than stop, than work, .......you get the point.
