I'm lookiong for nice 3G (HSDPA), reasonbly-sized flip,
with good MP3 player, FM radio, and very good battery.
From what I've been reading, many SE's, just like the new 580i,
have great battery lives, wheras most recent Nokia's (N75 and 6555)
have has atrocious battery life or at least the user reviews say that.

So anyone with useful info...

I won't get in the technical details, but suffice it to say that the nature of the technology (3G) is why those phones get poor battery life, at least in comparison to GSM phones.

Like said above, if you are looking for a 3G phone, battery life tends to be poor for now. Stick with an EDGE phone if battery life is your #1 concern until 3G phones get better battery life.

I think the v3xx is the closest to what your looking for at the moment.

That's a grip for something that comes with a 2 year contract.

AT&T is not going to launch another flip that's more expensive then their RAZR2 V9. I might buy $299 for the K850 (even that would be a bit much), but the Z750? Not a chance. It'll be less than $200 (with contract, natch).

Your butt or a reliable source?

That is too much for it. Considering the RAZR V9 is $300. It should come out at $200-$250 and drop.

I'm thinking $199 for the Z750 and $249 for the K850. That places them both at the high end of AT&T's regular phone line-up without eclipsing the almighty RAZR2.

But I was actually surprised by how cheap the W580 is (i.e., free), so maybe more optimism would be in order?
