Looks like no update too. I think Apple is figuring on selling the majority of their phones stateside as they do with all of their products, so no 3G is not a real surprise to me.

so far this has been a little bit of a letdown. I was kinda hoping for something major.

This reminds of the psp when everyone was waiting for software update 3.0, and everyone was speculating what it would have, and it came and did nothing of what ppl wanted/hoped.
Not saying apple won't eventually give us a great update, but i'm just thinking that staying up for this wasn't all that worthwhile.
