You know the high pitch ring tones only young people can hear

When I tried a couple just for grins they made me feel a little nauseous. I've experienced the same thing once in awhile when activating my Jawbone headset. Not as bad as the ring tone, but it gives me that feeling. Am I the only one? I love this headset and will not change back, but was wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing.

nope happens to me as well. this is the same concept the sound pain generator the mil is developing. seen a deal on future weapons on mil chan not only is it high db's focused but its a freq that is widely proven to cause pain.

Thanks, It is nice to know I'm nuts, but my cell phone and headset use is not the cause of it!

neo, just google (ringtones that only kids can hear) and you will get several. The mosquito is this one.

I can hear/feel it, not sure which, but the feeling I get is strange. Activating the Jawbone does something similar to me, but in a much smaller dose.

the freq is 14k so if you have a tone generator yuo can see if you can hear it. oh and do not do this around animals. it really does hurt them

I want a sound-based pain generator. Period.

But I'd like a microwave generator even more - maybe I should just stop heating food with the one I've got and start pointing it, with the door open, at my neighbor's house to see what happens... (Nausea, depression, etc. are the results of being bombarded with microwaves!)

just be warned it can lead to a sevear beating. vomiting of co workers or yourself. do not wear headphones with messing around with them and turn the speakers away from your ears. this is also another way of really checking the speaker response with an spl meter.

What's really funny is that I'm 44 and can hear those tones just fine. That KFC commercial used to drive me nuts too.

HA HA HA! Vomiting! That's awesome. I can't wait until I start working in the office again to try this out on some poor *******!
