Hey all, I should be receiving my Treo 680 in a day or 2. I had a couple questions. I will be a complete newbie with Palm products so bare with me. First off, the camera patch. Will my Treo have the camera patch already installed or is this something I need to download and install? Also, I plan on installing a few programs like Minitones to name one. Is there anything special I need to do before installing or any type of "formatting" (for lack of a better word)? Anything else that will help me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if you go to the camera patch site and look at your Treo, it will tell you how to see if you need the patch still.

as for minitones, nope, all is ready. but I know you need a SD card for minitones, so you might wanna pick up a 1GB or so for $10 or so. good to have for the Treo in general, some tunes, some movies or tv shows lol, i use my 2GB as a flash drive for my Mac also.

think about a Palm OS backup program, there are some free ones. but its a good idea to run a backup onto the SD card every once in a while, better safe then sorry.

I love Google Maps, Free Checking, Metro, Toccer, a lot when it comes to day-to-day tasks! They are all free too. Most of the best are free!
