First off, bluetooth DUN IS dialing through your phone for internet; DUN = Dial Up Networking. And what do you mean by pushing buttons? Do you have MPT or are you just using a new dial up connection? You need to provide more info if you really want help, not just "it wont work, fix it". Usually one big problem with usb dongles dropping connection is that they are cheap. How much did you pay for yours and what brand is it? How far away is your phone from the dongle? What
OS do you have? Is your phone battery fully charged? Are you making or receiving calls while trying to dial up?

ok well... i tried the usb, and i went to phoco's website and it wont work with USB it says. So i have a bluetooth dongle, and when i go to my bluetooth program, buel soiel, i can only connect it through a DUN modem. There is no way to connect through a like handset so i can hear the phone out of my speakers and talk through my mic, and there is no way to connect to phoco even recognizes it. When i did it through the USB modem, it never dialed it only called through contacts. So i could call, hang up that is it. I could not recieve calls and all the voice and talking had to be done on the handset not through the computer. I also tried MPT, and the program with that, the only way that would work is if i had my phone open, like i was dialing, and when i pressed the buttons if half the time worked. So i would press 2, sometimes it would actually send two to the phone, and sometimes not. I need to use PHoco because i am using centrafuse for my frontend. It says it compatible, but im still having problems. I get a new phone in 4 months. Still not sure wht to get and i know verizon is having like 10 new phones still to be realsed this year, but if i cant get this to work i dont know wht will. (also maybe its the dongel?? not sure but if anyone has a working dongel with tehre v3m let me kn ow.)

First off, there is absolutely no way to hear the phone conversation over the computer speakers, MPT is only a dialing interface, so you don't have to use your phone to dial a number. The only thing close to speakers is putting your phone on speakerphone and then dialing a number with MPT. If it isn't dialing numbers, chances are your phone is too far away from the dongle, or the configuration between the computer and dongle and then the dongle and the phone is messed up; but since it dials some numbers, chances are your dongle is a piece and won't relay information very fast. Try dialing a number, but wait 5 to 10 seconds between number dials in MPT; I bet it will dial every number, because the dongle had enough time to relay the information.

Can you clarify on that? I'm not sure what you want to do with "voice and microphone".

like, i want to be able to connect with phoco, dial with phoco, call with phoco, and be able to have the phone call come through my computer speakers and talk throuigh my computer mic.

Who is your provider? Some providers block the ability to use the phone as a tethered modem. My provider, US Cellular, does that. Verizon has also been known to do that as well, as they did when the Moto Q was first introduced, and up until at least the MOL2 software release.

That said, you will need Motorola Phone Tools, version 4.36c, to allow the phone to act as a modem, either tethered or via Bluetooth.

You didn't mention what model of Bluetooth dongle you have, but I believe that Phone Tools has a problem with dongles that use the BlueSoleil chip and stack. If your dongle is so equipped, you may have to get a dongle that uses the Widcomm stack.

I hope this info helps you out.

Well, if you check PhoCo's web site, you might notice, under compatability, that the V3m is NOT listed!

http://zoran-horvat.de/PhoCoWeb2/compatibility.aspx

Also, I could find nothing on their site that says that their application can be used to allow the phone to be a modem. From what I could see, this mainly allows the PC to control the phone, not so much the other way around.

See my last post if you want to use your phone as a modem.

So much for the V3m suxing balls!

You will not be able to do either of the things you want to do. You have to use your phone to talk, period. All bluetooth will do is enable you to connect to MPT and tether your phone (use it for internet access). You will not be able to hear your conversation over computer speakers, or talk through a mic, under any circumstances. To avoid any other "what if's", it doesn't matter what bluetooth dongle/drivers you use, if you use a cable or bluetooth, etc. It's just something that can't be done.
