Hello all. I have an 6700 like all whoom are reading this. I have done all the hacks - upgraded to apache etc. My question is this. Are there any good cases out there? I have this cheasy leather one with the elstic at the bottom to let the phone slide in and out but the only way to get it out is to hit the IE button. I know i could lock the phone but are there any nice-good-better cases out there? If you have one that you like please let me know where I can find one. Thanks in advnce!

It's actually really nice and the phone easily comes out of the case. The locking strap has saved my phone from damage quite a few times!

I needed something which protected my apache from drops and hits so I went with the aluminum case (pdair or sedio) but i didnt like not being able to access the screen. So I just popped the plastic window out and viola!

A side benefit to the metal case is it reduces accidental button/joystick hits...no need to lock the phone.

Yeah, it makes the phone bulkier but for me it was the only solution.

I bought a case fom ebay and the magnet was too strong. Thereore it would turn the device on, (a magnet can have effect on an tough screen device). But I got me a Verizon case and it's made to protect your phone from getting turned on by the strong magnet that these cheap cases have. I used one like this as well, these cases are all the same just vary in size due to different phone models so they all have the same design. Magnet won't turn on phone and they're very easy to get off of belt, unlike some cases. If you don't want to order online then go to a Verizon dealer and get the OEM case for $19.99. Good luck.
