So i dropped my phone in the toliet, bad news bears

The phone is fully operational with the exception of a few buttons, but they work for a short period of time every once in a while. Im hoping a flash would alleviate this problem as I have already tried a master clear and reset.

Can anyone help me with the process, I have never done it before, or do you think a cingular rep would be willing to do it for me

any help would be great

A flash is more than likely not going to help you. Your phone is probably done. Water damage is a killer, and sometimes you get lucky, and your phone works, but most of the time it is finished. You can try the flash, but you will probably be shopping for a new phone shortly.

Cingular rep won't do it for you, especially if it is water damage, and all they have to do is look at the phone, and that white dot is red, they know what it is. No getting around it.

If a flash (software change) can fix an hardware problem (like Arnold rerouting his broken circuitry in T2) then that would be TRULY revolutionary.

New phone or if u have the time and the patience, replace kaypad contacts, not for the faint of heart if u never done it b4r, AND no guarantee of success.
