Blackjack WM6 Issues - Download Images Blocked & Right Soft Key

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

So two issues with the WM6 Update for Blackjack

(1) In email I like the new html email support - but it keeps saying that

"For your protection downloading of images has been blocked"

Then I have to click on DL images to see the full html email. Is there a way to change this b/c I want all the pictures downloaded all the time. I have the email account set to download full email each time so that's not it. Any ideas?

(2) There is no longer a way to customize the Right Soft Key ? It's set as CONTACTS which is kind of useless b/c I never use that to look up contacts anyway. Anyone know how to set the Right Soft Key to Google Maps or something else?

THANKS !

This is almost a double post. You should have combined this with your other WM6 rant thread.

Again, the alpha versions of WM6 your using on your blackjack lacks the menu option to change the right soft key. If you want to change it, you'll have to find alternative ways to get it done. You have 3 options:
A. Find a 3rd party app that does it
B. Edit the registry and manually change it
C. Rename the program you want to launch with that button, "contacts.lnk"

With the C. option, here is how it works. The button is linked to a shortcut in your start menu. The shortcut is called "contacts.lnk". If you were to delete that shortcut the softkey stops functioning. ok. Rename the shortcut of whatever program you want to launch to "contacts.lnk"

For example: Rename "Media Player.lnk" to "contacts.lnk"

Then when you click the right softkey, it'll launch Windows Media Player.
C is the dirty way to do it, but prolly the easiest.

The blocking of the pictures in PocketOutlook is a security feature. Lots of viruses and trojans are hidden in pictures. When a picture is displayed through email, its actually being opened and displayed thus executing any attached virus or trojan.

THANKS... Do you happen to know where in the registry it's located ? I think that's my best option....
