HTC S630 Cavalier & HTC S420 Erato??

What happend to these phones? Where are they?
The Cavalier is from a tech specs point of view a great phone as is the Erato.
Anybody any clues?

The S630 has been out for a little bit, and you can look around most of the popular online retailers and find it in one of it's various incarnations (HTC S630 of the Dopod C730). If you look at some reviews (google is you friend, and that would have taken less time than posting here!), device isn't as great as it is on paper. No major carrier support also lends to its lack of visibility.

In fact it's not even on the HTC Worldwide site (only in HTC Asia as the Dopod). I googled (somewhat) before posting by the way, but the lack of quality reviews and only sporadic availabilty as well as the known keypad problem let me ask the questions here.

I thought I saw on Engadet or somewhere else that the Erato was canceled but I can't find it now.

just purchased an S630, from B/S/T, can't wait until it arrives, it's a replacement with moderate upgrades (OS, processor, camera, wifi) for my extrememy beat Blackjack, I hope HTC starts supporting this model soon, since there are definitely some issues that need to be addressed

Yeah the S630 looks very promising. Please share you experience! I am ready to replace the Blackjack as well. I am tired of the upgrade circus!

I contacted the USA support by phone to inquire about some support, and they told me it's a EU phone and not NA, so I have contact customer suppot through the Euro site, I've sent an email to EU customer support, but haven't heard back from them yet, I'm curious to see what their response is, if I ever get one
