So I couldn't wait to start playing with wm6 on my BJ, and everything is great, except one thing.

When I had WM5 and wanted an mp3 ringtone, I'd drag into application data/sounds

This isn't working with WM6, the song isn't listed in the ringer list. Am I missing something or did they change it? Anybody have a fix?

try a soft reset. if that does work, try a hard reset.

i usually use WMAs on mine since most sites preview in that

I go to the Cingular site and download the previews

Those works great for me.

You download the ROM (check www.i607.org they might have a current link to a download location) and install it exactly as you would the WM5 update roms (samsung's web site has a detailed how-to)

Please note that I found there was a size limit on ringtones after upgrading to WM6, so a lot of mine wouldn't show up either. I'm not sure what the limit is, but something tells me 300K. I know all of mine now are just under that and work just fine.
