I have a Verizon CDM 8945. I would like to transfer pictures from my PC to my phone. Is there anyway I can do this (for free

)

I did download BitPim and it let me put the pictures on my phone to the computer yesterday, but that won't even work today. Looking at the Log results it keeps timing out, changing port speeds, etc. but still won't open the Filesystem. Since I had to add the phone manually I won't be able to put pics on my phone with BitPim.

I have a USB cable. I have a place for a TF, but haven't bought one yet.

Any ideas?

Its really very simple. I assume you have Internet access. If not, this wo't work for you.

Start an email message to your cell phone. The address is 1234567890@vzwpix.com, where 1234567890is your 10 digit cell phone number.

Attach the image to your email message and then email it. It will arrive as a message on your cell phone. You can then save it.

The phone wil resize it to fit your display and may crop the sides or top to fit. So you might want to resize the image first to make it smaller.

I knew I would be able to send them for a price. I don't pay for text or picture messaging (too cheap)

I did find a way to get the pictures to my phone from my computer and vise versa. Some of the pictures aren't sized to fit the phone though, but I will get over it. I am just glad I can do it.

I believe Future Dial Snap Media has software for this phone. I used it on my lg 7000 and it worked great. Try that.

Wow I did not know about email trick. Very cool. I have a bunch of pics that I have saving for my phone.
