Get a N80IE now or wait for the N81?

Hey all, I have been researching what I want to use for my next handset and I think I have narrowed my choices down to the N80 or waiting a little bit for N81. I initially wanted an iphone just because of the UI but I don't want to deal with unlocking one then having it re-locked by a "mandatory update" or something else very apple. I've had windows smartphones before and I think they are great except my old MPx220 always had problems exactly when I needed it. I haven't had a series 60 phone and think it sounds good, at least what I have been able to learn thus far.

The biggest thing I worry about is the battery life on the N80. I noticed the 81 has a completely different battery that is rated for 1100mah vice 800 something for the N80. I imagine I can get fairly decent battery life on the 80 if I don't use the wifi too much, no?

I'd also like a mapping application and the ability to tether a GPS via bluetooth. I've also been doing more messaging as of late. I also want to play nGage games if possible (N81 I think does this stock)
