If I go into an Apple store and go through the warranty process, do I get a brand new iPhone or a refurbed?

My iPhone is BRICKED! Luckily I unhacked it before it did so...

If you bought your phone brand new and under 14 days you can get a new replacement exchange right on the spot. If you pass the 14 days they might take it in for repair and send you a refurb or sometimes they order a refurb for you to exchange.

i had one exchanged a lil over a month after i got mine and i went through tech and they didnt see my problem so i went ot the apple store and they openned a brand new iphone out of box and swapped it out like a return...dont know if it was just a thing b/c i had an issue that tech said they couldnt recreated but they saw it in the store

I am buying a third for my son using our two rebates and was going to buy a refurb.
However, looking at an 8Gig the difference in price is now only $50 I'm just going to get a new one.

yea it doesnt make much sense anymore to get a refurb because its only the $50...but u can get the refurb and then get the apple protection plan and pay a lil more to have all that coverage

My girlfriend bought me mine a week after iDay, so I returned the favor and bought her a refurbed one cause I read that a majority of the people were not having problems with performance or cosmetics. Will it came a couple of days ago and just last night she opened it up. We noticed that the casing around the screen was off and light from the lcd was bleeding through on both sides at the top corners. We took it to apple and they swapped it out no questions asked and now she has a brand new, non refurbed one.

You have to go to the Apple Store and they will send it out. I had mine replaced for the third time and this last time they were going to send it out to their repair facility. Well the manager of the Apple Store interrupted and said "their" policy changed and they, Apple, were to replace all phones on the spot "to ensure customer satisfaction in a quick and efficient manner." This happened in Orange County, CA.

Well I got me a new iPhone today at the Apple store. Yay! The scratches and dents policy is either BS or applies to some stores. I had a few dents, nicks and scratches and there was not so much as a peep out of the guys mouth in reference to it.
