Hey Everyone -

Help me put my mind at ease (or perhaps not) - I'm reading varying reports on the web about the state of Apple iPhone refurbs. They've varied from "perfect" to "dark screens". This has me a tad worried.

I'm in Canada and went through some trouble to get an 8gb refurb shipped here via a friend. Usually I have no fear of Apple refurb quality but this time I don't have an option to ship it back to Apple should I get one the dark screen ones.

So I'm hoping that most people are happy - but if you're not, let me know.

I have the 4GB refurb, I had gotten it at the end of August and it's screen is perfect, it's a seven series with great color, brightness, contrast, no dead pixels. My advice go for it, you will get Apple's one year warranty so you have nothing to loose, Cheers...

Check the thread I just posted...I had bad luck with mine, but it seems like apple is makign it right.

I've got an 8 gig refurb, and it seems to be flawless. I have no idea which screen I have, but I don't really care - it looks great. If I crank up the brightness, it gets unreasonably bright.

Mine looks like the white parts of the phone have been washed with a red shirt...

Mine's coming in tomorrow, so I'll see as well, I've heard some bad reports so I'm a little scared but we'll see
