hey guys the iphone cant read PDFs atm right? i mean the Books app doesnt reconize PDF format, it only reconizes TXT and html for what i saw, what other formats does it reconize?

In e-mail, the iPhone recognizes raw text, PDFs, and Word files. So if you want to read an eBook on the road, mail it to yourself.

well i just installed mobile preview, i placed some pdf files on the iphone in the ebooks folder under Media and when i try to open a pdf file, its just a black screen, i tried to open HTML with preview too but i get a black screen, but a black screen in the program, not like iphone freezing black screen or anything but then again when i go to install mobile preview in installer, the description says "image preview plug" so it only loads images? why did you say it loads PDFs?(@Red Setter)

btw, when i sent a PDF file to my email, i was able to open the pdf file great but if i go offline, like turn off wifi then i cant view the pdf file attachment anymore, is there a way to read the pdf file i sent myself with the mail app when im not online? cuz for example i want to read some pdfs when im in the train..

use URI to save ur pdf as a bookmark in safari n u can sync the bookmark over n use safari to open the bookmark with any wifi or edge

ok whats URI? and what do u mean save my pdf as a bookmark? the pdf is not hosted on the net , i have it on my mac and u said with any wifi or edge? i cant use any of these while im in the train, please assist
