^ Welcome to HoFo! First of all, 6265i is a CDMA phone, NOT GSM. Secondly, even if you've got the SPC of your 6265i from your provider, in order to use it elsewhere w/ another CDMA provider, you need to find out if they accept activation at all. Thirdly, you need the right PRL to work w/ different provider.

BTW, that card slot underneath the battery ISN'T a SIM card slot like those in the GSM phones! It's a R-UIM card slot. Regarding this FAQ and similar questions, please read:

Hopefully you can help, so I can get the SPC by calling Telus and asking for it and hopefully they will give it to me, then i have to call Bell to see if they will allow activation, and then thirdly.. where do i get the right PRL from? thanks in advance..

^ Hi, welcome to HoFo. First, I can't and I won't help you in this topic.

First, I don't think you can call Telus and expect its client care rep to spell out the SPC loud to you. Someone have "social engineering" skills would get the code easily though.

Secondly, Bell will not offer much assistance to make your wish possible - e.g. simply program it w/ one active line on Bell, but not to program a new line w/ Bell on 2nd NAM and keep the 1st NAM active w/ Telus - even though it interprets money-making opportunity right away w/o hardware subsidy as you bring in your phone.

Thirdly, soliciting PRL of a particular provider openly here in HoFo won't be a good idea and it may bring certain legal liabilities if they pursue the matters.

So in the end, it's possible w/ the technologies but it ISN'T w/ the policies of the providers.
