Phone Choice

Hi,

I currently have a Samsung SGH-D807 that seems to have decided it would rather live its life as a pretty paperweight than a functioning phone, despite being pampered by its owner. I've attempted to exchange the phone twice, only to be sent equally problematic handsets. As such, I'm sort-of in the market for a new phone. I would greatly appreciate any advice for this decision.

I'm currently considering the Nokia 6126, Nokia 6555, Motorola Razr V3xx, and Motorola KRZR. Excellent reception and call quality are most important and compatibility with iSync would be great, as would solid build quality, durability, great battery life, and useable speaker-independent voice dialing. This Samsung has left a bad taste in my mouth, so I'd rather not end up with another Samsung.

My previous phone was a Nokia 6101, which worked very well for me. It was nice not having to worry about breaking the phone if it was dropped.

Judging by the user reviews I've read and the time I've spent with the Nokia 6126, the Razr V3xx has the best reception (but iSync is an issue, as is the case with the KRZR) and the 6126 is the most useable (albeit with poor build quality/cheap materials).

Which phone should I choose? Any other phones to consider?

Thank you for your time.

Based on your requirements, I would highly recommend the V3xx. It's a great great phone for reception and it's solidly built as well. I have not been so satisfied with a PHONE like the V3xx. I have used quite a lot of the phone including the N-series. V3xx is the best phone for reception and that is still my number 1 requirement for a phone.

Thanks for the advice. I managed to get through to some wonderful people higher up in the company, and I'm getting a Razr V3xx overnighted to me for free. I figured being polite and reasonable would help my case, as would being a good customer who doubled his bill recently. Hopefully I'll be able to stay with AT&T, as I've been satisfied with them overall, and I like unrestricted Bluetooth
