Some Sprint Razr V3m ringtone help plz?

I just got a V3m from Sprint and can connect to it via bluetooth on my mac. I've copied several audio files over (:30 seconds mp3 and wav) and they play just fine in the media player. However when I set them to use as a ringtone they never play - just vibrate.

I've tried every combination of file type and bit rate known to man. Can anyone explain why it will play as a sound but not a ringtone?

My guess is that when your connected to your Mac, you are only viewing the memory card and not the phone itself. Ringtones have to be on the phone I believe.

Also, try flipping open the phone and adjusting the ringer volume up. This is done using the large segmented button on the left edge of the flip. The upper portion raises volume, and the lower portion lowers it.

I seem to recall that you could also adjust the volume of individual ringtones by doing the above while previewing the ringtone under the sounds settings menu.

They do help. I think the problem is accessing the memory like you said

Unfortunately I don't have the money to drop on Phone Tools so if anyone else knows how I can access my phone's memory that'd be great!
