3g Rate Plan Increase?

Just wondering what are the chances that AT&T will increase the rate plans when the 3g iPhone is released next year. I know it's really early but would like your opinion. I could live with EDGE and the $20 data plan. I'm hopeing that the 3g iPhone dosen't take the plan to $40 or over. Thanks

That's a good question. I doubt it would cost anymore, but other's here might know a little better than I do.

there are plenty of 3g phones out there already. Why raise the price just because the iPhone adds what it should have had akready. Not to mention at&t is behind other carriers in edvo / 3g capabilities so a price increase would be insanly stupid.

I doubt that they raise it since I had the exact plan with my BlackJack(3G) same price.
