Well i am very happy with my Nokia 6300 for all my voice and texting needs. But i was looking to get a media player of some sort anyway. I was wondering if i can get the iphone and just get a data plan with it.
I dont need minutes or texting. Just the internet and the device. I like the idea of having a mp3/video/internet device.
Will this work?
P.S. I mean for using EDGE service, not just WiFi.

i was able to pop my friend's T-Mobile Sim, where the account is data only, into my iphone and it loads up youtube, email, and everything.

That is kind of the road i was thinking i had to go down.
Would Gmail come down to the device?

So I could just walk into t-mobile and ask for a sim card with the $5.99 / month unlimited data or the $20 / month only?
