One of my lines can upgrade to a new phone. I am looking for PTT service so these 2 phones have the capability.
Can people recommend either one?
If they both aren't that great, then the N75? The price seems to have dropped nicely. It's only $49 now.
Thanks

Depends. BlackBerries are built for email. If you are an email nut, get the BlackBerry.

The user won't really care about email or even browsing, so...
I particularly wanted PTT capability added to my family plan, but I hear the AT&T version sucks (unlike the dedicated Nextel version)....so I'm torn.

Moving to the PDA/smartphone subforum.

Sorry about that.

AT&T PTT is actually very nice in my opinion. Yes, there is about a 1 second delay, but who really cares?
What exactly don't you like about it?

Never had the 6555, but I can vouch for the Pearl. I love my Pearl. I haven't switched my SIM card to use my other phones ever since I popped it in here.
It has a lot of features that you may possibly want to use in the future. I never thought I'd use the BB service, but I was wrong. I love everything about it.
Are you concerned with 3G? 6555 has 3G capability, while the Pearl doesn't.

6555 ptt works great. it is really if you need email, that would be the big factor to get the blackberry.
