Hi. I just got an iPhone. I love the phone and everything but there is one little thing that bugs the hell out of me. The txt time is slow by about 5 hours to the main clock time. The weird thing is when I start the conversation the time is correct and the time is correct throughout the convsation. But once I end the conversation and a new txt coversation is started by a sender, the time shifts back about 5 hours. I am talking about the little time stamp on top of the conversation bubble.

Now, I tried to fix this problem by changing everything I can think off by scrolling around the seetings and everything. I've changed the time zones and everything but nothing seemed to solve the problem..

Can anybody help?

Thank you

I have the same problem, and I am on rogers as well. I wonder if its a network problem.

I'm on T-Mobile and use a Yahoo e-mail account. The people I send mail to tell me the times are all over the map, sometimes a couple of hours behind and as much as 10 hours ahead.

I too is usuing it on the Rogers network....

Turning on and off doesn't solve the problem...

And plus my red voicemail dot keeps showing up randomly even when I don't have a voicemail...weirdddd...

anybody help me on my little annoying problem here?

I am on Rogers as well and when I received texts, they are six hours earlier than the actually time. When I send out texts, the times are correct.. maybe it is an issue with Rogers and people using the iPhone..

I had the same problem with my phone when I had a Samsung T809. You have to call your carrier because for whatever reason your messages are being routed all the way to a tower in a different time zone. It took them forever to fix my issue, but eventually they did.

Shawn,

If this was the case, wouldn't this happen on any unlocked cell phone we receive a text on? This only started happening to me once I started using the iPhone..

Same here. Only started since using the iphone. When I put my sim backinto my old phone (Samsung P310) timing was perfect. Now...5-6 hours behind. And same story as Druidh. When I sent its ok, when I recieve its 5-6 hours back. But it only stamps the wrong time when recieving a new conversation as opposed to a conversation already active.

Although I know there is iphone users with Rogers that work properly regarding this issue.
