I'm thinking of getting one on Ebay for 150, but was reading that a WM6 veriosn is coming out?

Will a new phone with WM6 be coming out or just a softawre update?
Is WM6 worth the wait?

It will be available as a software update. You can buy one now and update later.

OK, but what are main diffs btwn WM6 and WM6.

Is $150 a good price for a 3 month old-BJ (mint condition),
ATT branded and locked, extended battery, 1 GB card, and earbuds.

The only real benefit I have read about (I am still using WM5) is HTML email.

Well here you go:

And for all that don't have a PDF Viewer (huh?) here's the HTML rendering from Google:

As for the above, well i got a "brand new refurb" for $150. It came with all the stuff that the new ones did (so brand new batteries too since you can't "refurb" a battery ) It was junk to a certain degree so i exchanged it and they gave me a brand new one with the normal box - non-refurb so i'm happy

Anyways, yeah - 150 is a good price because even used they sell them for $220 on Craigslist. (crazy dudes!)

Great info.

As it relates to refurbished phones, how would I know if the slightly used BJ I was buying was a refurbished phone? Should the seller have the original box? What would indicate it was a refurbished phone?

Well the refurbed ones come in a AT&T box with no indication of what's in there. Just in blue and orange colors The other come in the normal box and has all the graphics and all that of the phone and features listed.

You wont know by looking at the phone as everything has basically been replaced with new components as long as they weren't scratched before. If the previous owner dropped it a few times they'll replace the casing with new ones so there's no bumps or bruises and then upgrade it to the latest firmware to wipe it clean.

WM6 is available now, just not officially by AT&T. I have been running it on my device for a few months now. It works right out of the box with no hacking or anything, and is AT&T branded. Its just not "official".

$150 is a good deal without a service upgrade. You can get them free online with a 2yr service upgrade. The stores have them for $79 i think. Someone prolly bought it with a 2yr and wanted something else.
