I just bought a Cingular/AT&T unlocked Treo 680 that I'm using with T-Mobile. I'm able to make phone calls okay, but I cannot access the Internet. I get a message that the Network has been locked by the service provider. T-Mobile technicians has tried to get me connected with no success. Please HELP.

You have to make a profile under the network for T-Mobile and set it as default. Or if you have already made it make sure it's default since it's probably looking for Cingy's stuff

Thats exactly what it is doing. Looking for Cingular. I do not know how to set the profile of T-Mobile as default. Please help

It worked Mr Aaron Fisher. I really wanna thank you for the link to "my guide". T-Mobile tech support told me the phone does not have WAP, so I have to upgrade to the $20 plan. You are the man. Thanks

anytime. just remember only a few programs will work with the cheapo plan. any program that supports proxy settings.

Kinoma- yep, youtube videos will stream
quickipedia- wikipedia lol
treoalarm- whether and alarm
direct assist- directions and integration with contacts

I know that Google Maps will not work however. It does not have proxy settings

but I mean... for $5.99 a month, can't we live without Google Maps? lol
