Safari closing by itself ??

hi

I wonder if anybody else is experiencing this problem. Sometimes, when I am browsing the web with my iphone, after 15 - 20 mins, the browser will close and jump back to home screen

Is something acting up or i just come across something that safari doesn't support ?

Comments welcome

Mine does that every so often. It goes black and then back to Home.

same here...

also with Maps too... when I zoomed in too much, the program closes and jumps back to home.

Maps did that to me once too. I forgot about that.

my iphonie has been doing it for sometime now. will close in 5 -15 min, sends me back to the home page, when i restart it i have to go back to what i was looking at. it started sometime back closing only 1-2 times a week, now it does it 4-5 times a day. did reboot and did not help.

Clear your "Cache, Cookies, and History folders" then do a restart. It happens ever so often because either 1) the phones memory is clogged, 2) too many things going on. Its a crash, and it's happen before to many iPhone owners, get use to it. Just search and you'll see.....hasn't happen to me in some time because I slow down on usage! lol hope this helps

Mine too does this. During mail most often when I have typed in a fairly lengthy email. Hopefully the new update will fix it.

Mine does this also at times. A simple restart of the phone cures it.

This happens to me everyday too. Along with ipod suddenly stopping out of no where. Restarting the phone on a daily basis is something I only experience on a WM device. Apple should just add a FORCE QUIT option like they have on desktop OS X so you can close all the background apps that you no longer use.

But I have to give it to Apple, even with all these apps running, the phone is more responsive than any WM devices.
