I followed these instructions and was up and running within 5 min.
8230 users, shut off wifi, it gets confused when it tries to route data with the UMA connection on (I tested this in my apt).
No idea if this works with other non-8300 series BB's

new development, it seems that it only works a few times (and only for a few minutes) after I set this up on the mac... to get it to work each time I need to re-install it as a BT modem on the ibook. strange
