email on 8320 (curve) problem/solution

I have my gmail my aol and my blackberry emails set up on my curve...today i went on to gmail and saw that i had 2 new emails that were not sent to the curve is there a way to set how frequently it recieves mail? thxs

No. I think it refreshes about every 15 min. Exception is Yahoo which is almost instantaneous. (Glad I use Yahoo.)

GMail is instant push there is no 5-15 minute wait while BIS polls your GMail account.

Thanks -- somehow I missed that gmail is also instant. Probably because it didn't stick since I don't use it. But I know Yahoo is quick from personal experience.

funny cause it happened when i turned off WiFi and when i put it back on they all came thru so im wondering if i need to always keep WiFi on? Which seems weird to me??

i'm using gmail also and i haven't noticed any emails that haven't come to my BB. i have another question though, my emails show up under my text messages as well as under my email icon...do those count against my monthly text message limit?

From someone when wifi is on, the phone seems to try to connect to the BIS servers thru wifi and when it errors out it doesnt revert back to Edge unless you power cycle the radio
