so my iphone froze a couple days ago... i reset it back to factory settings... then i try to restore my iphone... but it wouldn't let me without updating... so i assume the update has entered my iphone which was was upon a time unlocked now the screen only reads activate iphone connect to itunes... aswell as incorrect sim to activate iphone...

i tried it all got a new att sim... sat on the phone with tech. support & rest the phone with both sims... idk what else to do but buy another unlocked iphone today... until they figure out how to crack the new software....

So you were forced to update then? Well you're screwed buddy. Personally if I were you, I'd call tech support, go through all the trouble shooting steps, then have them send you a box to mail yours back in and have them send you a loaner phone. They won't repair your phone, but at least you'll have an iphone to use for a week and hopefully (crossing fingers) somebody will have come up with a solution by then.

we tried the trouble shooting 2 days in a row.... i went to the apple store & they swapped my iphone... idk if i should keep it.. activate it... or what i'm kinda nervous lol
