Has any one followed following FAQ to verginize their unlocked IpHone and then upgrade to 1.1.1?

It absolutely works!

I messed up two different iPhones (1.0 or 1.0.1) when trying to unlock and had to virginise them before i correctly unlocked them after NO SERVICE ISSUE.

follow the instructions to a T! I used Mobile Terminal through iBrickr to input the commands.
A bit of a pain but by the second phone I had it done in a few mins.
And the good news, you have to use this too if you want to downgrade from 1.1.1 and unlock 1.02 again.

After the downgrade the baseband files are still 1.1.1 thus you have to use this top reflash the 1.0.2 files to the baseband to make it completely 1.0.2.

Then you can unlock again!
