STUCK on Yellow Triangle+Endless REBOOT **NEED HELP ASAP**

Purchased a new 4gb phone that looked to be on firmware 1.0.2 based on the emergency call screen test.

We tried the

And couldn't get apptapp to recognize the phone. After several attemps we assumed that we weren't on firmware 1.0.2 and proceed via iTunes to install firmware 1.0.2 (holding shift key and directing it to a downloaded 1.0.2 firmware). However iTunes failed and deliverd an error message saying it was unable to install the firmware.

Now the phone constantly reboots from the gray Apple icon to the yellow triangle icon.

I am unable to install 1.0.2 firmware.

PLEASE HELP!

You have you tried holding the home button first then the power button for about 30 seconds until the yellow triangle shows up?. You can then use wininstaller and put it back in jail. When in jail, you'll be able to reinstall 1.02 firmware.

What firmware did your phone have originally?
