Mkay.

So I was hacking my verizon w385 as I usually do and was in the middle of getting rid of some old ringtones, when my son thought it was a cool idea to yank my usb cable out of the computer while a delete was going on.

The phone will now power on, but it won't find signal, or connect to the computer, and it flashes between my wallpaper and the hellomoto screen at random. The only buttons that seem to work or make any noise are Send, End, and the volume selector. It frequently freezes, and the only way to turn it off is to take the battery out.

No freakin clue what to do. PLEASE HELP ME.

Take it in to a corporate Verizon Store (use the store locator at verizonwireles.com and find one that says the store will do Software Updates) and tell them you have no idea what happened.

I'm not even kidding. My v325 bricked itself after a year of several seem edits successfully working. It was freezing and restarting itself constantly. I took it in and they said it was within the one-year warranty, so I got a brand new one for free. They transferred over all my phone numbers, pix, txts, and ringtones for free, too.
