hi yall

yesterday i upgarded my German Vodafone GD87
i use it with o2 and i wanted to have 200 sms storage
but more i wanted this tetris and heerdin sheeps games.

when i buied my gd87 i had the A18 i think.. it had this
Push2Wap Bug so i send it to Panasonic. i got a completly
new phone with the A21. at this time i allready couldnt
send my wap downloads like ringtones or wallpaper via IrDa
anymore. with the A18 it alwayz worked!

i dont have internet.. i can only go online if i connect
my GD87 via IrDa to my pc and then connect.. well this cost
me 0,15 cent per Minute and this with a speed at 9.600 bytes :/

first question.. does anyone know a cheeper way ?!
i dont have modem.. only my GD87 !

i have a serial flasher-cable, i cannot use it with
edit tool or handset manager but it seem to work with
winmodo and cb2000.

well.. i visited a friend and downloaded all tools needed
for firmware update.. THX FOR THE LINK !!! i allready searched
a long time for all the stuff. i did all the steps with Winmodo
and i successfully updated my phone from A21 to A39 No Sound

okay.. the phone was still off.. i still had to do the things with
CB2000. i taped my phone.. pin 4 and 10 cuz i didnt knew what kind
of cable i was usin. there is a sticker with PAN GD93 on it!

okay.. i connected the phone.. it seemed to work.. well.. but
instaed of goin to Write Data i was goin to Read Data.

2nd Question: Could this have corrupt the Firmware Update ?!

i noticed that i was wrong and i fast went to write data and pressed
Memory Erase. i read in the forums bout a switch that can change
between In-Fusio and Internal (TETRIS AND SHEEP HERDING) games
but i coulnd see this switch! later i noticed what was wrong..
i did all this with CB2000 v1.343 !

i disconected my phone and turned it on..

everything seemed right

but.. phonebook is gone, all wap links are gone, all servers
i once entered are gone.. i still have my files, pics, ringtonez etc

everything seemed normal.. but i didnt had my new games!
at this time i noticed that i worked with the wrong version of Channel Box 2000
instead of using v1.349 i used v1.343 provided in a CB2003.zip

i also had anotha file with CB2000.. i installed it and it was version 1.349 !

i conected my phone.. i allready put the tape of.. i forgot that and connected without
taping.. but it also seemed to work..

in write data i finally found the switch for changing games. its in Mobile Variant
everybody should see it. i tried to switch it and and clicked write to phone.

phone sayz: PROG MOB VAR Failed

****.. why does that **** dont work.. i read in foums and there i saw the problem
eeprom locked ?! wtf ?! why is my eeprom locked ?! how can i unlock this ?!

i went to my girlfriend.. searched the net.. bout eeprom unlockin..
i got theese new programs i didnt knew before:

Panasonic_GD87_user_code_reader -> this tells me only IMEI and USER CODE 0000 lol :/
reader5v0 -> seems interesting

but it can only unlock SIM and i think change IMEI..
i tried to log the codes.. i coulnt get it to work.. but i dont have any
lock when i press 746.. my only problem is the EEprom Lock.. shiat
winmodo3091 -> seem to be for any other Panasonic Phone.. but not for GD87

well.. now imma home and writing this.. tried CB2000 again and again.. PROG MOB VAR FAILED
