I have a micro sd for my moto maxx v6. I charged my phone with the wall charger , unplugged it today and turned it on and now my phone doesnt want to recoginze any of the media on there. When i plug the sd card into my reader on my computer, i get i/o error. Is my micro sd card f****. I have alot of photos i need i there.

I've had 2 or 3 to go bad on me. They have all been 512 cards and for the most part I think you are screwed. I've never been able to salvage anything from any of them. I started backing mine up on a regular basis because of loosing everything more than once.

If these are like wedding pictures, there are some recovery apps out there that may/maynot work, and they are probly not free.

I've had it happen to me as well. I just stay away from brands besides Sandisk and haven't had problems. Savings a few bucks just isn't worth losing all my stuff.
