I have an unmodified ATT V3xx that I've been syncing via SyncML to a remote server for 4 months or so. I had about 300 calendar entries. The calendar appears to be inaccessible via the normal calendar menu entry, via SyncML or via Motorola Phone Tools.

When I do Tools/Calendar, I get a 'Please Wait' screen that hangs forever. When I try to sync, I get 'Busy, Try Again Later'. Moto Phone Tools doesn't see any calendar entries, and a MPT backup/recover doesn't allow recovery of calendar items (the check box non-selectable). Removing the battery doesn't do anything.

The rest of the phone appears to work fine.

Now for the good part - A 'Master Clear' hangs forever.

Edit - It seems as though any attempt to access on-board flash fails. Games don't play, (Please Wait....) Camera never loads, Media Finder hangs with 'Updating Media Finder', etc.

Help? Any idea's?

I called ATT. They are doing a warranty exchange.

The exchanged phone failed with the same symptoms after a month. I've got a second new V3xx from ATT.

Second exchanged phone failed again. Same symptoms. 'Updating Media Finder' hangs forever, Master Reset hangs forever, Master Clear hangs forever, Calendar hangs forever.

Three strikes & I switch to Nokia?
