From: John Murphy Subject: Re: Your order has been RECEIVED Date: October 03, 2007 09:08:15 AM EDT To: CustomerService@WirelessImports.com I've a question about IPSF, before I submit the IMEI number. I currently have 3 iPhones and I'm sitting here juggling the 3 trying to decide which one to use my license on - basicly, which one would be the best option and would gain the most. One - the one I initially intended to use the IPSF license with, is a stock, virgin 1.0.2 firmware. Never jailbroken, never unlocked. The second was a 1.0.2 locked to AT&T, upgraded to 1.1.1 and then restored back to 1.0.2 so the baseband radio firmware is the 4.X series. The third I've no idea yet. It's a replacement for a 1.0.2 phone upgraded to 1.1.1 that was bricked by the update. I won't have that phone till this afternoon so I've no idea if it will be 1.1.1 or 1.0.X till I get it. So, the question then is this: Does IPSF continue to work even after upgrading to 1.1.1? Also, I understand it can't, at this time, be installed to a 1.1.1 phone (since a 1.1.1 can't be written to yet) but what about a 1.1.1 that was downgraded to 1.0.2 and jailbroken, with a 4.X baseband? Does it require (initially) a 3.X baseband radio FW for the installation to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I acted too quickly once - when I clicked update on the anySIM unlocked phone, I don't want to do the same again and have yet another iBrick
