phone for parents

which phone would be better for my parents? the k1 or vx8600? this will be for at&t. they dont care much for the music players. they just want good battery life, durable, good reception, and easy to use. tia

The VX8600 is only for Verizon so you could scratch that out. If you just want a basic phone, buy the refurbished prepaid Nokia 6030 or 2610. Both of those have great reception, good battery life, and are very easy to use.
