Now I'm wanting to go back to 1.02 since I miss all the apps, customizations, etc...but with the conflicting reports, I don't want to lose the phone portion of this phone.

The unlock is stored in a portion of the phone firmware (the baseband radio firmware) that is not touched by version 1.0.2 no matter how many times you restore it |

By UNLOCKED I mean anySim, iUnlock or similar. If you set it up, under 1.0.2, to use a non AT&T SIM it was UNLOCKED If it was just 'jailbroken' but remained locked to AT&T (AppTapp, iBrickr, iNdependance, iActivator and so on) you will have no problems. None of those routines affect the portion of the phone that is irreversibly changed by 1.1.1. |
