MDA Vario Pin Code Help Needed

I have just brought a TMobile MDA Vario. When I turn it on it's asking for a 4 digit pin code. I have tried 0000, 1234, 5678, 1210. None work. Please help.

This phone is second hand. If the previous owner had put a personal code in is there anyway I can wipe it and start again? Am I able to get into this new phone of mine?
