ooooook..i guess everyone's getting tired of these questions..so i'm getting a 4 gig that's used and i believe it has 1.1.1 (dont have it in my hand but the original owner says it's "up to date".)so,i'm confused...

if he never unlocked it and just used at&t,does that mean it CAN or CANNOT be unlocked currently?i know the dev team and everyone else is working on unlocking 1.1.1 and better downgrades,i just didnt know if a downgrade and an unlock would work right now without a baseband reflash or whatever.i'm just trying to figure out what to do.i'll wait for another unlock if i have to i'm just wondering my options.

If the iPhone has been flashed to 1.1.1 then it cannot be SIM unlocked.
