Brick? Please help!

Hello all,
I just received my iPhone today, and tried to unlock it.. everything was going well, until it decided to go into the "Please Connect to iTunes" almost permanently.
I can reboot, but it just heads to that yellow triangle all the time. Plugging it in makes iTunes tell me to restore it - which I do.. and it fails with an error code 6. iBrickr doesn't recognize it..
Am I out of luck?

It depends.... what version are you restoring too? and what version was on the phone before?

what version are you restoring to? (as stated above)
what os are you running?
What version are you restoing from?
Have you rebooted? (i had trouble because jailbreak was running in the background and i did not know until i restarted)

are u pressing shift + restore and also did you follow the post above

Take Your Usb Out From The Port It's In And Try A Diffrent Port. Works All The Time!!!
