H800 Headset & V551 problem

I have a strange problem, but I think it may be caused by incompatibility. The H800 pairs with the V551, but the call button will not pick up a call or end a call. Basically, all the buttons (2 volumes, 1 call button) on the headset seem to work with normal functions except call functions. This means I would have to set my phone to automatically answer a call. So would this mean it is an incompatibility problem or a problem with the headset?
Probably the best way to test it would be using a newer phone, but I don't have access to a newer phone right now. Just wondering if anyone would know what the answer is.
Other than that, the headset seems to be pretty clear during calls, both mic and speaker wise. Though I didn't have a chance to use it in a noisy environment yet.
