Need Help with Bluetooth on Razr V3c

I have a V3c razr with Virgin mobile. Today I tried to bluetooth with my friends, who had a razr V8 with fido and a razr v3 with rogers. Well they could bluetooth between themselves, but I couldnt! It would connect but on my friends V3 it would say "Service not supported."
Again, my friends with the V8 and the v3 could bluetooth together fine, but mine was not able to.
What is wrong?
