I took a look at the Nokia website and it says that the the Nokia 5300 uses the BL-5C battery. I could swear that it actually uses the BL-5B, which is shorter.

forget BL-5C, it won't fit (longer than 5B)
if not, I used 5C instead of 5B in my 6120!

that's what I thought. There is a mistake on the Canadian site as it lists the battery as BL-5C which made no sense as i have used this phone before.

Ok thanks for all the answers.That means i will be stucked using BL-5B for the meantime.I'm still experimenting if i can force BL-5c or even BL-6c onto Nokia 5300......maybe a little cuts here and there...

The Canadian site as well as the Canada branch are bad, they won't validate nor service international warranties like the US or Europe, I heard Nokia in some Asian countries does offer service for small fees if the phone is from another country or so, no wonder the info on the website for Nokia Canada has errors, they don't care.
