4gig Iphone all sold out?

wondering if all of 4gigs are sold out in apple stores?
I am traveling to NYC area tomorro and planning to hit several different apple stores, would it be waist of time to be looking around for 4 gig at this time? if not I will have look for 1.0.2 8gigs.. any suggestions?

I guess you'd have to call each individual store and ask them. All I know is that the 4GB model was removed from the online Apple Store a while back. Who knows? You might get lucky.

there is a guide sumwhere to tell what verison does each iphone has looking at the box serial no.. sutmhign liek 7t7_ _ the two number sin 4-5 determines if its 1.0.2 or not. any number lower than 38 is good but the lower the better =] i picked up a iphone 8gb today for 350 it was v 1.0.1 or somethign =] got luckie off craigslist.

Check out AT&T stores in the suberbs and surrounding smaller towns. My local AT&T stores still a few 4gigs left. One had 3, the other had 1, as of Thursday the 11th. You might get lucky.
