sound/speaker problems on my razr v3

okay, i tried searching the forums for the same probelm as me and i couldnt find it so heres my post. i just recently recieved my RAZR v3 and now when i call people, they can hear me but i cant hear them. i have to use my blue tooth ear piece set to hear people.. so i think there is something wrong with the speaker in my phone.. anyone know how i can fix this problem?

If yer lucky, the gain table is bad, and u just flash it with a known-to-be-good firmware.
Else the ear-speaker is bad and u need to replace it by opening the phone, not trivial for a non-tinkerer, but actually fun for geeks.
